This research aims to develop a device-free measurement system that can be used to monitor the movements of stroke patients continually and also detect falls in the home environment.

Several parallel planes of RF sensor nodes will be deployed in an indoor environment to form a sensor network. The received radio signal strength indicator (RSSI) data of each pair of nodes is processed to determine the positions of the patients, without any privacy concerns.
